#TeamLŌKAHI traveled to Kansas City to compete in our first submission-only tournament. And while the day was filled with exciting matches, everyone agreed that the trip highlights included Rob’s fantastic one-liners and the post-tournament dinner at Q39. Where should our team travel to next?

Coach Nolan Update!
Anyone who’s suffered a leg injury can imagine the challenges that come with Trick-or-Treating while on crutches. On top of having little masked bandits stealing candy out of your bag, homeowners - already tapped out of the ‘good stuff’ might be more inclined to offer you a cup of water and a towel. So for those who know Nolan, a food-centric holiday was just the motivation he needed. Just a month off knee surgery, he’s flying through recovery and physical therapy!
Nolan, who claims his cardio has actually improved while being sidelined, looks forward to return to coaching in a few weeks. “The doctor said he’s never worked with such an athletic specimen.”
Note: It was later confirmed that Nolan’s physical therapist primarily sees geriatric patients in their 70s and 80s.
