While the back doors were often closed this month, July made us all grateful for the fully-functioning air-conditioning units that keep LŌKAHI at a comfortable 75-degrees. Through heat waves and hurricane-level wind storms, our team still found a way to pack the mats.
Team LŌKAHI had the chance to work with one of the best Jiu-Jitsu competitors during his US seminar tour at Lincoln BJJ. Adam Wardzinski had an impressive run at the 2024 IBJJF World Championships, becoming the first European ever to win the stacked 84kg gi division. Over the two-day workshop, Adam showcased great details from his butterfly guard, took time to field Q&A, and even got after it with the crew for no gi rounds.
